We've Done It
Adlai Bernard surpassed his birth weight this afternoon by 0.4 ounces. He now weighs 8 lbs. 2 ounces so we don't have to return for more weighings. We may have to return to the doctor early next week anyway because his belly button isn't healing despite Dr. K's attempts on Monday (and today) to help it seal itself.
In other news... while we were at the doctor's office, Adlai found the curly black blood pressure machine cord fascinating and tried to grab for it several times.

We're leaving it open - president, vice-president, ambassador... he should have SOME choice in the matter.

I hope he'll run for office a little sooner or I may be too old to vote as a 130 something.
