Adlai at Twenty Months
Adlai B. Kagle turned twenty months on Tuesday!
To celebrate we interviewed new babysitters and prepared Simon for his first day of kindergarten. I did remember (albeit the next day) to finally take the boppy photos! You will notice that I skipped his 16 month shoot. I didn't forget - no, instead I just didn't do it and have felt guilty about it all these months.

Adlai at 20 months is very silly yet seriously opinionated. We took a walk this evening and he cheerfully chatted away before (gently) hitting himself and scolding "No hitting!" and (gently) biting himself before yelling "No biting!" He likes to count and repeat things we say and do/have everything that Simon is doing or having. He often becomes frustrated when he can't do or have everything he wants and has started to act out with hitting and biting (hence the self recrimination). He sleeps well, eats a broad selection of flavorful foods, likes to spend time outside studying nature, and his face is often covered in a rash because his skin is so darn sensitive.
