Symptoms:

• Sudden desire to be cuddled.


• Decreased appetite (to regular toddler-sized portions).


• Refusal to eat most non-carb foods after declaring them "eww, yucky!"


• Refusal to use the toilet even though it is clear he knows what to do and when to do it.


• Unnatural interest in playing with brooms, vacuum cleaners, "clock towers," the moon, our bed, and his guitar.


• Obsession with Totoro and "the rain song."


• Sudden ability to enthusiastically climb into his tent bed for the night.


• Change from saying "yes!" or "OK!" to a slow "uhhhh huuuh" as his affirmative response.


• Growing out of all of his size 3 pajamas without gaining any weight.


• Wild hair.
